Position: Greenhouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

As a Greenhouse Assistant, your role will be central to the success of our farm operations. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Crop Cultivation: Plant, water, prune, and monitor seasonal vegetables throughout the growth cycle.
  • Harvesting: Pick and handle fresh vegetables with care to maintain quality standards.
  • Post-Harvest Handling: Sort, clean, and package produce for delivery and distribution.
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure production targets are met.
  • Compliance: Follow farm safety guidelines, hygiene protocols, and operational standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience: No prior agricultural experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and working in a greenhouse environment.
  • Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Team Spirit: Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
